Music producer Charlton Hill (ex-Supersonic executive producer) and producer/composer ‘Shave’ have joined forces to form an independent music and sound production company, Uncanny Valley, from a studio base in Sydney's Tamarama Beach.
Dedicated to delivering original composition and sound design for the advertising and television industries, Uncanny Valley also provides an interface between agencies, unsigned acts and labels for license material and recording artist collaboration.

His list of credits include projects for clients such as Shapeshifters, Fatboy Slim, Cerrone, [Love] Tattoo, Etherfox and Antigone and he is currently writing and producing new material for Darren Hayes, Sydney’s ‘the Potbelleez’ and UK dance artist Sam Obernik.
Hill, who also has a history as a recording and touring artist, has produced compositions, sound design and post production audio for music projects for the advertising and television industries including campaigns for Nike, Lexus, Nokia, Sony, P&G, Castrol, Panasonic, BBC and MTV.
In 2009 he was invited to speak at the agIdeas Design Week in Melbourne on the art of ‘Sound as Design’.
Shave and Hill have already delivered on a local front this year with compositions for Network Ten's return of So You Think You Can Dance and MasterChef, Foxtel’s Winter Olympics, the ABC's Sleek Geeks II, MTV and TVCs for production company Curious Film and Luscious International.
