Zspace redesigns Nine Network Today show on-air brand

Zspace has created a new look with its integrated on-air branding for the Nine Network's Today show.

Designing the new graphics and logo as well as the set, the complete refresh of the Today brand aimed to present a bold new look for 2012 that would break the barriers between the Today cast and its audience.

Zspace executive creative director, Jean-Christophe Danoy, together with Mark Dyson, used extensive television experience to create an intimacy between the presenters and provide a seamless connection with viewers.

“Having the set and graphics designed by the same company ensures integrated marketing of the brand,” Danoy said. “With Today the set works in conjunction with the whole broadcast bringing a sense of harmony.”

Nine’s director of News and Current Affairs, Mark Calvert, said the process had been a real creative partnership.

“The process was a pleasure, they’re sensitive to the needs of our in-house creative teams and the end results have exceeded our expectations,” he said.
