The Queen Victoria Building launches latest campaign

The Queen Victoria Building has launched its 2011 Autumn Winter campaign themed around the concept of the ‘Art of Life’.

Created by PDC Creative, the campaign positions the QVB as a gallery of classic style, home to sophistication, beauty and culture. The inspiration behind the campaign celebrates the era where a woman’s elegance and charm were her preferred accessories.

The campaign will be delivered across multiple channels including ads in The Sydney Magazine, in-centre, and within the QVB’s own seasonal glossy magazine, Life and Style.

Australian international supermodel Anneliese Seubert was selected as the face of the campaign. Her old world glamour, refinement, and stature within the fashion industry made her the perfect choice, says Taryn McGurk, Ipoh group marketing manager explained.

“Anneliese embodies the style and sophistication of the QVB experience. She is a great ambassador for this campaign and representative of our QVB customer as she is intelligent, cultured, and ultimately, fashionable," says McGurk.

“The photo shoot is classic yet feels simultaneously contemporary, it is vibrant yet conveys a sense of nostalgia. These are the qualities that are synonymous with the Queen Victoria Building and what our customers expect when shopping with us.”

The QVB has also partnered with author and stylist, Sibella Court, to act as a guest contributor for Life and Style magazine.
