The Hallway and online travel agent, Zuji, have launched a striking national TVC and outdoor campaign designed to strengthen the agent's position and marketshare in the sector.
The arresting images were captured in camera following a simple desire to do away with CGI and focus on a sensibility of authenticity. Using ink on glass to create a blossoming effect to illustrate the 'Travel your way' message, the result is a visual style that is truly unique.
The Hallway head of art, Dave Lidster said the sheer dedication and randomness in perfecting the technique was an intensely long process.
"The trial and error of it was so involved," he said. "The handful of shots finally used came out of close to 400. It was a tiring process but we're very happy with the result."
Swedish production company, B-Reel films, produced the TVC, directed by Joan Perjus, and shot on location in Stockholm, Barcelona, Lisbon and Bangkok.
The Hallway creative partner Simon Lee said the TVC delivered an emotive single-minded message.
"As the campaign line states, with Zuji, the perfect trip is yours for the making. We’ve dramatised this by showing people actually creating their own personal journeys," he said.
