This week Ogilvy & Mather has launched a new campaign for Super Rugby, the sport's international provincial competition.
The "Super Heroes" campaign turns some of the top stars and celebrities of the game into traditional heroes, using a comic strip inspiration.
Aimed at passionate rugby fans and sports enthusiasts that love their footy, the campaign is driven by a 30-second TVC and will be supported by online and print executions.
Ogilvy & Mather's business director, Adam Lee, said: "By turning the top players into Super Heroes we're able [to] capture the speed and intensity of the game while leveraging the strong, magical and seemingly indestructible nature of the great players that fans love."
The featured Super Heroes include Rocky Elsom, Adam Ashley-Cooper, James O'Connor, David Pocock, Berrick Barnes, Kurtley Beale, Quade Cooper, Will Genia, Stirling Mortlock and Jarrod Saffy.
The 30 and 15-second TVCs will air nationally on free to air and pay television.
