Sixty40 have created the latest summer ident campaign for TV1, using a stop motion animation style to capture a feeling of summer fun.
The brief was to make a series of short films capturing the essence of summer using real objects, reinterpreting their purpose to give them new qualities and personality through animation.
Three idents have been created, the first ident called ‘Celebration’ creates a conga line with dancing party shoes, the second called ‘Beach’ features summer fruit frolicking on the beach and the third visits a parallel Aussie universe where sausages host a BBQ and tongs and salad forks play impromptu cricket.
The style of these three idents was inspired by the work of animators like PES and Oren Lavie, said a spokesperson for Sixty40.
