For all those who don’t know what to do this summer, Sony has one word, Summertainment.
Sony, its creative agency, Havas Worldwide Sydney, digital agency, We Are Social, and retail agency, Media Merchants have developed a retail, advertising and social media campaign around all the things that Australia has to offer in summer.
First job was the commissioning of Brooklyn-based illustrator, Mike Perry, to create the visual look.
An app, 1001 things to do this summer, features across all Sony companies; Facebook platforms and is supported by competitions and prizes from now until the end of summer. The app will crowd source to build the 1001 list. Visitors get to submit their own summer ideas and may also create their own personal to-do lists within the app.
Sony Music will use the Perry illustrations in its advertising and point-of-sale campaign.
Sony Australia and partner, Billabong, have created a Summertainment TVC promoting the 1001 things to do, which will be supported in its pre-Christmas retail promotions and online gift guide.
