@radical.media seeks out Mr Hide

Top director Mr Hide has signed to @radical.media for Australia and worldwide commercial representation (excluding Japan and China).

Mr Hide (pronounced 'Hee-day', full name Hideaki Hosono) has been at the helm of provocative and inspiring campaigns for brands including Toyota Prius, Precision Tools, Nissin Noodles and Fujitsu.

Ian Fowler, @radical.media's managing director in Australia, said Mr Hide is a unique creative talent.

“I think a lot of it comes from his unusual and diverse experience in many varied parts of the world,” he said. “His early years in Germany, Iran and Boston, his film education in Los Angeles, and of course the cultural experience of his native Japan have shaped him as a storyteller that really stands out.”

Executive producer Holly Alexander said was looking forward to working with the director. “The really inspiring thing about Mr Hide is that he is a director who works hard to elevate the creative idea, rather than just turning out what he has read in the script," she said. "It will be a really exciting journey.”
