Moon Communications Group has been recognised for outstanding design work at the Australian Graphic Designer’s Association (AGDA) awards held recently in Brisbane.
Moon was a finalist for 11 of its campaigns across seven different categories and received four AGDA Distinction Awards.
This design accolade follows client wins for Moon including its most recent appointment as a global creative agency for mobile phone company HTC.
Moon’s chief executive, Anouk Darling, said: "While Moon has evolved into a full service international agency, offering creative, digital and strategy solutions to some of the biggest brands in the world, Moon will only continue to succeed if it delivers consistently outstanding work across all areas of the business."
"Design is Moon’s heritage, so it’s particularly important that during our growth we maintain the design edge that we were founded on and remains part of our point of difference," said Darling.
Moon’s creative director and AGDA Awards judge, Linda Jukic, said: "Being a finalist for 11 pieces of work was a remarkable achievement and one that our team should be really proud of."
All of the finalists will be published in the AGDA annual showcase book and being part of its touring exhibition that showcases and celebrates the best of visual communication design for the past two years.
The exhibition will tour nationally and internationally to New York later this year.
