The latest accolade for @radical.media is an Academy Award nomination for Best Documentary.

Directed by Joe Berlinger and Bruce Sinofsky, Paradise Lost 3 : Purgatory concludes the HBO documentary films trilogy launching a worldwide movement to free three convicted men, Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jessie Misskelley (known as the West Memphis Three).

One of the most notorious child murder cases in US history, the film explores new developments and a startling and unexpected conclusion in August 2011 when Echols, who was on death row, together with Baldwin and Misskelley, serving life sentences without the possibility of parole, were finally freed after 18 years in prison.

It is @radical.media‘s second Oscar nomination. In 2004 the company won the gong for Best Documentary for The Fog of War.
