Independent creative agency Imagination has announced two new creative hires, boosting the Australian contingent to over 40 staff.

Newly appointed senior art director Adrian Goldthorp brings over a decade of international advertising experience and senior copywriter Troy Graham contributes vast writing expertise to the team.

Producing inspiring events, exhibitions and internal engagement projects saw the company take out both 'Best Corporate Event' and Best Event Design' at the 2011 Australian Event Awards.

Imagination has been appointed creative director of Sydneys New Year's Eve for the next three years and includes clients Ford, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Jaguar/Land Rover, Telstra, NBN and American Express amongst its clients.

General manager Heath Campanaro said he was excited about the new recruits.
"Adrian and Troy bring great above and below the line experience to our creative team. By placing storytelling at the heart of our approach, we continue to pioneer the realm of experiential and to create theatrical story lines for people to engage with brands through. Our experiential capabilities are already so strong, it's nice to know that we can now execute through any media at the highest level."

Goldthorp has worked for agencies including; Publicis Dialog, Lowe Hunt, and most recently at The Works with Graham.

"I like to be at the forefront of every project, developing strategies, dealing directly with clients, and producing 360° campaigns that consistently deliver the results," he said.

Graham is published author with Harper Collins and brings honed-skills in writing for automotive, travel, property and retail to Imagination's senior team.
"My background includes radio presenting, songwriting and writing for television," he said. "I'm looking forward to working with Adrian again."
