A new marketing, creative and digital salary comparison resource has been launched providing detailed advertising industry salary information.
The new portal set up by Firebrand Talent Search aims to supply data that in the past has often been out-of-date and hard to find.
The peer-to-peer driven Salary Survey is designed to add a greater level of transparency to the taboo workplace conversation topic – how much people really earn.
Built specifically for industry professionals in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom the site has already attracted many salary entries since launching earlier this month. The salary data is free for anyone to access online and is updated in real-time.
Greg Savage, Global CEO for Firebrand said it was the first global company specialising in marketing, creative and digital recruitment to take the concept salary survey to a new level of usefulness.
"We realised that there is a real trend online for people to freely exchange valuable information and this concept strategically taps into that trend," he said.
The site operates on a sharing basis. By providing accurate and anonymous salary data by answering about 14 questions about your current role, you get access to all the salary information shared by other members of community in return.
"As salary entries to the site continue to grow each day beyond the 12,000 salaries already captured, our hope is that the site becomes a rich and indispensable research resource that is continually referred to by marketing, creative and digital job seekers, current employees and employers alike."
