New creative head for newrepublique

Creative digital agency newrepublique has announced the appointment of Michael Glass as new creative head.

The "new generation story tellers" have been releasing wins thick and fast of late including working with Coca-Cola, City of Sydney and University of Western Sydney.

With over eight years in the digital advertising industry, Glass has worked at some of the most recognised agencies in the world, most recently M&C Saatchi.

Glass has led full creative teams and created large scale integrated campaigns for clients such as Optus, Westfield, Woolworths, Qantas and Sara Lee and was lead digital creative on the multi award winning Optus Whale Song, an integrated re-imagining of the Optus brand.

newrepublique founder Nima Yassini said he was excited to bring such a creative mind on board and knew that Glass would bring a new element to the team.

"Our challenge to date has been how we bring our new form of planning in digital to life creatively. Michael brings a type of skill and execution that will take our offering to clients to the next level, He definitely joined newrepublique at an exciting time," Yassini said.

Glass said he is excited to join the team and is enthusiastic about working with limitless boundaries at such a great time in the industry.
