Brand consultancy Interbrand has announced an expansion of the Melbourne office appointing a new batch of designers, strategists and creative directors.
Design director Sue Mould's first project is developing the brand identity for the Queensland Art Gallery and the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) in Brisbane. New designers Drew Coughlan and Robert Farrelly will also join the project.
General Manager, Andy Wright believes the hires further entrench the company culture unique to Interbrand's success.
"We’ve had a great first half of 2011 and the team is growing rapidly, whilst the competition have experienced some challenges," he said. "Sue is someone whose work we have admired for some time and we're very excited that she’s joined us from Elmwood."
"We're creating a very high performing, creative culture here at the moment and recent additions like Sue, Robert and Drew are exactly what we're looking for," he said.
Jake Smallman has recently been appointed as creative director of the Melbourne office after a year with Interbrand and Jef Van Acoleyen to the strategic team.
In line with the stunning growth of Interbrand Sydney, the new team and high profile clients like GOMA, the Melbourne office looks set to further cement the company's place as the leading, fastest growing branding expert in the country.
