Interbrand Australia has today announced a raft of leadership changes with general manager of Interbrand Melbourne, Andy Wright, joining the Sydney team as a divisional General Manager. Melbourne’s current director of strategy, Nick Davis, will move to the position of General Manager, Melbourne.
Interbrand Melbourne also announced the appointment of Oliver Maltby as creative director. Maltby is a highly awarded creative and was most recently CD at The Chase in London.
Andy Wright said he was excited about what the leadership changes mean for the team in Melbourne.
“We have scoured the globe to find a Creative Director that compares to the success of Chris Maclean and Mike Rigby in our Sydney studio,” he said.
Sydney creative director Mike Rigby said that he and co CD Chris Maclean were delighted with the Melbourne creative appointment.
“We know him very well, the three of us having all started our careers together at The Chase,” he said. “Oliver is one of the UK's most awarded designers of his generation. He will bring energy, passion and a determination to deliver only the very best solutions for our clients.”
