SBS continues scoring goals with Immigration Nation garnering five awards over the weekend at the PromaxBDA ANZ Awards in Sydney.
The project picked up the Gold Muse for Best Documentary or Factual Entertainment Promo, the Gold Isis for Best Design without Footage, the Silver Muse for Best Print Ad, the Gold Isis for Best Use of Typography and the Silver Muse for Most Outstanding Promo of the Year.
SBS Director of Marketing Jacquie Riddell said that the broadcaster was thrilled with accolades by the premier Australian/New Zealand Awards for creative excellence in television marketing and promotion.
"To take home five awards for this creative is great recognition of both the fantastic, thought-provoking campaign and of the hard work of teams at SBS and US Sydney," she said.
Immigration Nation has previously won Gold for Best Animation and Gold for Best News/Information Program Promotion Campaign Using Integrated Media at the International Promax Awards earlier this year. It also picked up a round of gongs including the Webby Awards 2011 (Online) and the Australian Effects and Animation Festival (AEAF) Award for Best Visual Effects in a TV Series (done by Visual Playground), as well as being recently shortlisted for the NSW Premiers History Award.
Developed by US Sydney together with Engine, the creative for Immigration Nation included executions across print, TV, radio and online.
