Illustrators Australia Awards winners announced

The Illustrators Australia Awards have returned with a bang!

Here at CREATIVE Magazine we were honoured to assist with the entry process and co-ordinate the judging results. Here's how it worked:

Entries were submitted to CREATIVE by email or FTP link, and were uploaded to the CREATIVE website ready for judging.

All the files were renamed so that the judges could only see the name of the piece of work and who the client was. The judges could not see the name of the illustrator or studio. They were asked to use their professional opinion to decide whether each image or series was worthy of publication – a simple yes or no vote. After that they could indicate up to three images in each category that deserved special mention.
