RSVP are yet again on the hunt for Australia's Hottest Tradie, with people invited to 'honk' for your favourite tradesman around the country. The Tradies of Australia have the chance to win a Ute and a heap of other prizes when they enter.
The campaign, created by 303, kicks off with a microsite where you can 'honk' for your favourite Tradie, and is supported by online display advertising, a Facebook page and Facebook Connect, EDMs and a radio promotion.
The ladies (and men) of Australia will vote for their regional favourites online before deciding on the national winner at an event in Sydney in the New Year.
Nic Chamberlain, 303 head of digital, said: "We're giving the women of Australia the chance to get their own back, all good fun. The social media element of this campaign is really important - We've added Facebook Connect to the site to get maximum reach, and the Facebook page will support the campaign throughout."
Lija Jarvis, marketing director of RSVP, says: “We are really excited to again be launching RSVP's Hottest tradie campaign and 2010 is certainly shaping up to be bigger and better than ever."
“303 have developed a digital strategy and a fabulous creative platform. The campaign is very much geared around engagement and positioning the RSVP brand around summer fun an Aussie irreverence -- encouraging tradies to enter and women to vote and do what women do best -- share information with all their girlfriends.”
