Sydney-based Holy Cow! Design & Advertising has won a Merit Award in the Society of Environmental Graphic Design (SEGD) Awards, announced recently in Washington DC.
Holy Cow! was recognised for its work with Mad Mex Fresh Mexican Grill, the Sydney-based fast-casual eatery.
"To gain international recognition for our work is incredibly satisfying and a true testament to the talented team we have here at Holy Cow!" said Melissa Webber, managing director and CEO.
"The environmental design at Mad Mex plays a huge role in their business, and we're so proud to see it honoured with a Merit Award from SEGD."
Holy Cow Design & Advertising's work was chosen from over 430 entries submitted for consideration in this year's competition.
As the winner of a Merit Award, the environmental graphics for Mad Mex will be displayed via a gallery on the SEGD website -- http://www.segd.org/#/design-awards/5200/5220.html -- joining a list of leading design firms.
Exceptional environmental graphic design is recognised in the annual SEGD Design Awards Program, illustrating the pan-disciplinary nature of visual communications in the built environment.
Winning projects have included complex wayfinding systems, branding and identity work, retail and interior projects, exhibition design, and public art installations.
