pictureDRIFT took up the opportunity to work with music artist Gotye once again on a video for the debut single Eyes Wide Open.
The video has been four months in the making and premiered this week. It uses a mix of live action, time-lapse photography, stop frame animation and 3d animation.
The video features a tribe of earth crusted travellers that journey back through time across an ever changing and vast apocalyptic landscape that tells the story of earth’s development and decay.
The travellers tower above the landscape riding in giant leaky boats lumbering on long rusty legs, they cast buckets on long ropes down to the ground in search of the precious water that they need to survive.
PictureDRIFT previously worked with the artist on his hit 'Hearts a Mess', which was nominated for an ARIA and IF Award.
