Gemma Lee directs for Erika Heynatz

Taxi Film's director Gemma Lee drew on a diverse range of graphics, film and VFX techniques to build the latest music clip for Erika Heynatz's latest track titled 'Bullet'.

Part performance, part narrative, this music clip aims to evokes the seductive, edgy poster art of alternative cinema in the 60's and 70's.

The concept re-imagines Heynatz as film star from that period, and sees her in a number of different scenarios, from film noir femme fatale to a biker. Lee utilised the RED camera to create the aesthetic, which Taxi describes as moody and cinematic.

'Bullet' features Rose Byrne's older brother, George (a singer and musician himself), the vintage 1942 Harley-Davidson which was ridden by actor Hugh Jackman in Wolverine and a python named Blake.
