EYE launches MOVE

EYE delivered a statement today on its landmark Glebe Island silos site to support the launch of MOVE – Australia’s new audience measurement system.

The aim of the execution, which unveils the MOVE audience figure for this particular site, was to generate interest around the launch.

EYE’s Glebe Island Silos is the largest billboard of its kind in Australia and across the southern hemisphere. This landmark site
delivers 1.2 million contacts a month.

General manager, EYE Marketing, ANZ, Leonie Collins commented, “The measurement of outdoor visibility and exposure brings total accountability to one of the oldest forms of advertising – Out-of-Home. What better way to support the launch than to use an iconic site like the Glebe Island Silos which is well known to the advertising industry to deliver an EYE message.”

EYE worked with this month’s advertiser on the Glebe Island Silos, Colonial First State, which showed its support by giving
the site back to EYE for a 24 hour period.

In addition supplier Omnigraphics provided further support with the production of the EYE message.

EYE is the only Out-of-Home media specialists to have coverage of the five capital cities across all three Out-of-Home formats: roadside, transport and retail/lifestyle measured by MOVE in the Stage One release.

EYE is a founding member of MOVE, launched by the Outdoor Media Association in Sydney.
