Dan Gregory appointed as newrepublique creative chairman

Creative brand strategist newrepublique has today announced the appointment of Dan Gregory to the role of creative chairman.

A regular panellist on ABC’s Gruen Transfer, Gregory's body of work spans 20 years and is synonymous with groundbreaking work for clients including Coca-Cola, Unilever and Lilydale.

Gregory's responsibility will chiefly be ensuring alignment between brand and digital strategy for current and new clients. He will also further shape and direct the concept of Choice Architecture, a system developed in collaboration with newrepublique.

newrepublique CEO Nima Yassini said Gregory's appointment would further enhance the company's offering as brands transition online.

"Our agency will be the first to engage a heavy weight traditional brand specialist within digital strategy," he said. "Our team and ultimately our clients will benefit hugely from his pure depth of knowledge and proven innovation."

Gregory, who is also the CEO of The Impossible Institute, said that the traditional agency model had been questioned for years.

"newrepubliques’ approach, team and client roster are the perfect communications model for the future," he said. "As part of the strategic alliance, newrepublique will also deliver digital innovation capability for The Impossible Institute."

newrepublique has also announced a ream of new wins and ongoing developments to be released in detail over the next few weeks.
