CANNES: Australian agencies continued their mediocre run at Cannes, picking up just one Bronze Lion in the Cyber category, awarded to Droga5 Sydney for its V Australia work.
The 4320 LA/SYD campaign for V Australia was one of the only bright sparks in a poor showing. Visual Jazz Melbourne and Longtail Perth - the two other local agencies with nominations - both went home empty handed.
New Zealand grabbed its only award in the category, with Colenso BBDO Auckland picking up Bronze for Yellow Pages "Yellow Chocolate", adding to a Silver it picked up in the Press category.
Two Grands Prix were awarded, with DDB Stockholm winning for Volkswagen "fun Factory" and Weiden + Kennedy Portland for Nike Livestrong Foundation's "Chalkbot".
