Tropfest has today released the official trailer for its 20 year anniversary celebrations from Friday 17 February to Sunday 19.

Captiv8 was selected by the festival to produce the trailer, telling the narrative of a man struggling to find the right idea; a process with which many a filmmaker or Tropfest entrant would no doubt identify.

Festival director John Polson said they were impressed with this year’s trailer.

“It captures the whole ethos of Tropfest, that it’s about the idea and and the power of creative storytelling,” he said.
“Captiv8 have been involved with Tropfest for three years now and they continue to create amazing work for us. They have a great understanding of our brand and audience,” he said.
