Tactic exclusively designed and produced all aspects of ABC3’s branding development - including overall production, logo designs, music composition, on-air promo design and off-air ads and marketing.
ABC3’s channel launch required tactic to create 2D and 3D animation, as well as live action spots resulting in 24 channel idents and 400 branding elements.
Created over a six-week period the idents are entirely unscripted and inspired by the rawness of children's imagination.
The initial ABC3 tender was widely contested with tactic’s pitch ultimately defeating 14 industry contenders with its design solutions to complement the ABC’s digital TV and online components.
Creative director of Tactic, Diana Costantini said: “The ABC3 project has been enormously rewarding and challenging. It’s been tremendous fun too."

Tactic’s relationship with the ABC extends back to 2007 when the agency designed the branding elements for ABC1 and ABC2.
