BMF promotes Taylor to ECD

BMF has promoted Dylan Taylor to executive creative director of direct, while Dennis Koutoulogenis and Shane Bradnick have been promoted to creative directors.

Taylor was previously creative director of direct and has been with BMF for six years.

BMF executive creative director Warren Brown said of Taylor’s promotion, “It’s a recognition of his input into the agency.”

Koutoulogenis has been with BMF for eight years and was previously writer, while Bradnick has been at the agency for three years and was most recently art director.

“It’s terrific to have guys like this to lead the department, not only are they bloody brilliant at their job but great guys to have around as well,” Brown said.

Six Australian finalists in SXSW Interactive Awards

Keynote speaker Baratunde Thurston is a politically-active, technology-loving comedian who  co-founded the black political blog, Jack and Jill Politics and serves as Director of Digital for The Onion.  Barack Obama called him "someone I need to know." His first book, How To Be Black, will be published in February 2012 by Harper Collins.

Six Australian projects are finalists in the SXSW Interactive Awards 2012. In its 15th year the awards identify the best new digital works from around the world including mobile and tablet apps, websites, kiosks and installations.
