BMF Melbourne has revived an Australian icon after decades of screen absence with the return of the SOLO Man.
Directed by Hamish Rothwell of Goodoil Films, it is a light-hearted take on the history of the first SOLO man and his discovery of the magical lemon tree that created the original 'thirst crushing' drink.
BMF Melbourne's executive creative director, Dave Klein, said he had grown up watching SOLO Man jump over cliffs, ride wind surfers through the desert and wrestle crocodiles.
“Back then he was pretty awesome,” he said. “Our challenge was to introduce him to a new generation of fans and bring the idea to life of why SOLO is the original thirst crusher.”
The campaign launches nationally on December 5 including television, cinema, outdoor and comprehensive online activity.
