Aussie films to screen at French film festival

A short animated road movie by The Lampshade Collective is the latest Australian film to be added to the screenings list for French film festival Clermont Ferrand.

The Melbourne company's film, Nullarbor, has also won an inaugural AACTA (Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts) award.

Nullarbor is a 10-minute animation that was produced by Katrina Mathers, Merrin Jensen, Daryl Munton and Patrick Sarell and directed by Alister Lockhart and Patrick Sarell.

It joins Craig Irvin's Tethered, Robert Stephenson's Paris Lakes, Nathan Lewis' Attach Boat to Motor and Andrew Kavanagh's At the Formal to be screened at Clermond Ferrand in a program curated by the L'Etrange Festival in France on January 30.
