Animation design studio The Character Mill launches in Sydney

A new animation, illustration and design company, The Character Mill, has launched in Sydney.

Specialising in character design, illustration and animation for commercials, print, online, publishing and electronic games the studio has established itself in the areas of iPad publishing, books, packaging, online games, and media content.

New workflow pipeline upgrades will accommodate real time 3D allowing interactivity with characters and the environment as well as extending the application of the work to auto-stereoscopic game content.

Part of the Red Cartel Group run by partners Landon Curry, James Neale and Kim Neale who have worked together now for nearly 4 years, The Character Mill's studio is located in the creative quarter of Balmain in a former boatyard at Mort Bay in Sydney Harbour.
