Animal Logic extends the team

Animal Logic has hired VFX producer Matt Lynch, reporting to head of production Luke Hetherington.

Lynch's appointment aims to be instrumental in the promotion of the company's VFX capabilities and the current slate of Australian tax incentives to film studios executives, VFX producer and supervisors.  

"We're thrilled to have Matt join the team," says Hetherington. "He has a strong track record in VFX production and developing new business opportunities in the UK and Canada and extensive experience marketing the regional tax incentives to the major studios."

Lynch has over 16 years experience as a VFX producer and business development executive marketing studios in Australia, United Kingdom and Canada. Recently returning to Australia, Lynch's credits include Watchmen, The Chronicles of Narnia and Traitor.

Animal Logic is currently in production on Zack Snyder's fantasy adventure Sucker Punch and the upcoming animated feature Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole.
