Oktobor was awarded the Favourite Website Award (FWA) Site Of The Day award on the 18th this month.

The Auckland-based visual effects and Animation Studio won the award for the music video website it created for New Zealand band Shihad.

Oktobor Digital Design Director Matt von Trott said, “We are delighted to have won the FWA Site of the Day Award for the Shihad Sleepeater website. This website is a very good use of the online and digital mediums and has proved very effective in both cases."

The site was designed to promote a single by the band and features a grid of one hundred fans dancing to the single. Clicking on any of the fans in the grid brings them up to full screen.

Oktober also won the FWA Site Of The Day award in March for a website created for Ambience Entertainment.
