Morrison is an emerging photographic artist who specializes in conceptual series.
He began doing street photography in 2004 when he also completed study in traditional black & white film photography. After returning to full time study in 2009, Michael recently graduated with a Diploma of Photography from Southbank Institute of Technology in Brisbane, Australia, where he is currently based. He was the recipient of the PORFYRI Photography award for Best Graduate Portfolio of the year.
Morrison has developed an intensely unique visual styling that is fast gaining him a growing audience for his works. “It is my responsibility as an artist to take risks, push boundaries, provoke thought and challenge perception, and so we grow”, he explains.
Having exhibited locally in both solo & group exhibitions, Michael also has published works to his credit, Including: Avant Card Postcards, Capture Pro Photography Magazine, Surface online Art Magazine & Australian Creative’ Showcase gallery.
Morrison’s passion is to conceive, capture & direct conceptual photographic series, while his conceptual eye is also known to lend itself to fashion & media works.

Michael is now completing his Bachelor of Photography at QCA Griffith University, where he is majoring in photographic art practice, while producing his unique, provocative imagery for urbanperception.
