Kastner & Partners' Space Pen (3)

In celebration of the 40th anniversary of man's first landing on the moon, Kastner & Partners, Sydney, has created a print and poster campaign and website for Fisher Space Pen.

K&P has created a number of alien characters who have become inspired by elements of human culture: fashion and the odd iconic symbol of innovation and technology.

Says Darryn Devlin, creative partner at Kastner & Partners said: "The Fisher Space Pens are just a remarkable engineering feat, yet look so damn cool.

"Fischer was only ever interested in creating the technology and ergonomics to design a pen to withstand the most extreme of experiences. Our creative insight was to focus on this. In actual fact, he inadvertently civilized space for all.

"To work on such an icon of modernity (the Pens are featured in New York's MOMA) let alone to have one in your fingers, is a great pleasure."
